Why these rules exist

1v1ChatMatch puts two strangers face to face on camera. That only works when both people feel safe enough to be themselves, so every call, every text message, and every profile on the service lives under the rules on this page. They apply from the first second of a match, they apply to everyone, and nobody is too charming, too popular, or too paying to be excused from them. The short version fits in one sentence: act like the person across the camera is a real human being, because they are.

Be real, be decent

Say hello. Treat a no as a no. If a conversation is not working, skip — that is what the button is for, and it is always more graceful than arguing with a stranger. Do not mock, threaten, or humiliate the person you are matched with, and do not gang up on anyone. Most matches on 1v1ChatMatch are friendly precisely because most people follow this paragraph without being told.

Adults only — zero tolerance

Every user must be 18 or older. There is no gray area here and no second chance. If you suspect someone on camera is under 18, end the call and report it immediately; we act on these reports first, before anything else in the queue. Accounts found to involve minors are removed and, where the law requires, reported to the relevant authorities. If you are under 18 yourself, this service is not for you — full stop.

Keep it clean

1v1ChatMatch is not an adult service, and the camera rules reflect that. No nudity, no sexual acts or sexual behavior on camera, and no asking your match for any of it. No shock content, no graphic violence, and nothing shown on screen that exists to disturb the other person. Flirting is human; turning a stranger's screen into something they did not sign up for is a violation, and we treat it that way.

No scams, no money, no sob stories with a price tag

Never ask another user for money, gifts, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or favors with a price attached — and never send any of those to someone you met here. Romance-then-investment schemes, fake emergencies, and slow-burn sob stories are the oldest tricks in online chat, and they all end the same way: with your money gone. Anyone who raises money in a conversation should be reported on the spot. Our Safety Tips page walks through the patterns worth knowing.

No recording or exposing your match

The person on your screen did not consent to becoming content. Do not screen-record calls, photograph your match, or capture their image, and absolutely do not publish or share any of it anywhere. Do not dig for or spread anyone's real name, address, workplace, or accounts on other platforms. A private 1v1 chat stays private; violating that is one of the fastest ways to lose your access permanently.

No spam and no selling

1v1ChatMatch is for conversation, not for marketing. Do not flood matches with links, promote products or services, recruit people onto other platforms, or run automated accounts and bots. Every account is expected to be one real person having real conversations — anything else is noise that makes the service worse for everyone else in line.

Reporting and blocking

Every call carries report and block controls one tap away. Blocking is instant, free, and silent — the other person simply cannot reach you again. A report goes to human moderators with the context needed to investigate, and safety reports involving minors or threats jump to the front of the queue. Reporting in good faith never gets you in trouble, even when the report turns out to be a misunderstanding.

How enforcement works

Minor missteps can earn a warning. Repeated or deliberate violations earn suspensions. Severe violations — anything involving minors, scams, explicit content, or exposing another user — earn a permanent ban, immediately, without the warming-up steps. Making a new account to sneak back after a ban is itself a permanent offense. If you believe an action against your account was a mistake, write to [email protected] and a human will review it.

The one-paragraph version

Be an adult, be a person, keep your clothes on, keep your wallet closed, keep your match's privacy intact, and use the report button when someone else forgets. Do those things and you will never hear from us except in welcome. The legal framing around all of this lives in the Terms of Service.
