The short version

1v1ChatMatch is a 1v1 video chat matching service at 1v1chatmatch.com. You can open the site, look around, and start a first match without handing over your name, your email address, or your phone number. We handle the data the service needs to run, we keep the list short, and we do not build an advertising profile of you. The rest of this page is the same story in more detail, in plain language. If anything here is unclear, write to [email protected] and a human will answer.

What we handle when you browse

Like every site on the internet, our servers see standard technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open, and the time of each visit. We use that to keep the site fast, to stop abuse, and to understand which pages people actually read. Your IP address also tells us your approximate country, which we use to connect you to a nearby server and to respect regional rules. We do not ask for your precise location and we do not want it.

Your camera and microphone belong to you

A 1v1 video chat only works with a camera, so your browser will ask for camera and microphone permission before a video match starts. Nothing leaves your device until you say yes, and you can say no — text chat still works without either one. Video and audio during a call travel between you and your match, protected in transit. We do not record your calls, we do not store them, and we cannot play them back afterwards. When the call ends, the picture and sound are gone.

Guest sessions and signing in

On your first visit we create a guest session automatically, so the matchmaker has somewhere to put you. A guest session needs no email, no password, and no profile form. If you later choose to sign in with Google, we receive the basic details Google shares — typically your name and email address — so we can hold your account, your coins balance, and your call history in one place. Other users see a display name and whatever you choose to show them. They never see your email address.

Cookies in brief

We set a small number of cookies: essential ones that keep your session alive and remember your preferences, and analytics cookies that tell us, in aggregate, which pages get read. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. The full list, including how to refuse cookies in your browser, lives on our Cookie Policy page.

Moderation signals

When someone taps report, we receive the report together with the technical context needed to investigate it — who was reported, when, and what rule was cited. Automated systems also watch for abuse patterns such as spam floods and ban evasion. These signals exist to enforce the Community Guidelines and keep the room clean. They are not used to read your conversations for advertising, because there is no advertising profile to feed.

What we never do

A few things are worth stating plainly. We do not sell your personal data to anyone. We do not record or store your video or voice calls. We do not show your email address to other users. We do not collect precise GPS location. We do not run ads, so there is no ad network quietly watching you on our pages. And we do not ask for more than the service needs — no phone number, no address book, no contacts upload.

Your choices and your rights

You can browse and match as a guest without creating an account. You can refuse camera or microphone permission and use text chat instead. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time. If you signed in and want your account and its stored data deleted, ask us through the Contact Us page and we will remove it, keeping only the short-lived records the law and basic security require. Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights to access, correct, or export your data — the same inbox handles those requests.

How long we keep things

Server logs live for weeks, not years, and exist for security and debugging. Account data stays while your account is active and disappears when you delete it. Reports and enforcement records are kept long enough to act on them and to stop repeat offenders. When we no longer need something, we delete it or strip it of anything that points back to you.

Questions about privacy

This policy applies to 1v1chatmatch.com and the 1v1ChatMatch service. We may update it as the product changes, and the date at the top of the page will move when we do. For anything privacy-related — a question, a correction, a deletion, a complaint — email [email protected]. You will reach the team that runs the service, not a call center reading a script.
